INDICACIONES:

Mucosolvan es un medicamento que pertenece a la familia de los mucolíticos, tiene como principio activo Ambroxol, éste tiene las siguientes características: aumentar la secreción de las vías respiratorias, potenciando la producción de surfactante pulmonar, aumentar el movimiento de las vellosidades respiratorias, para así arrastrar el moco fuera de las vías y facilitar la expulsión de flemas, aliviando la tos.

Aumenta la secreción de vías respiratorias, potencia la producción de surfactante pulmonar y estimula la actividad ciliar. Estas acciones tienen como consecuencia una mejoría del flujo y del transporte de la mucosidad (aclaramiento mucociliar), según se ha demostrado en estudios farmacológicos. La potenciación de la secreción fluida y del aclaramiento mucociliar facilita la expectoración y alivia la tos; así mismo, en pacientes con bronquitis crónica y/o enfermedad pulmonar obstructiva crónica (EPOC), reduce el número de recaídas.

Es utilizado para el aumento de la fluidez de las secreciones mucosas del tracto respiratorio, para el tratamiento de:

Bronquitis bronquial, aguda, crónica, espasmódica.
Enfermedad obstructiva pulmonar, conocida como EPOC y que consiste en la inflamación crónica de las vías dificultando la entrada de aire a los pulmones.
Asma bronquial.
Neumonía.
Rinitis o hinchazón de la mucosa de la nariz.
Sinusitis.

MODO DE ADMINISTRACIÓN:

Por vía oral se debe tomar preferentemente durante o después de las comidas (la forma oral administrada de forma pulverizada no debe tomarse con las comidas). Es aconsejable la toma abundante de líquidos durante el tratamiento. Por vía IV: Administración por vía IV lenta, durante 5 minutos como mínimo. Puede administrarse en gota a gota intravenoso con solución salina fisiológica, solución de glucosa al 5%, solución de levulosa al 5% o solución de Ringer.

CONTRAINDICACIONES Y ADVERTENCIAS

Generales: debe contraindicarse en personas con enfermedad péptica activa.
Alergias: no debe recetarse ni administrarse sí se sabe alérgico a Ambroxol y/o Clenbuterol
Mezcla con Alcohol: el alcohol disminuye la efectividad de las sustancias activas de Mucosolvan, por consiguiente, no deben consumirse en conjunto.
Mezcla con otros medicamentos: Ambroxol aumenta la penetración de la amoxicilina, cefuroxima, eritromicina en las secreciones bronquiales.
